What we use now
Morse Code Works does not set any cookies, and does not load third-party scripts that set cookies.
The translator saves your sound settings in your browser's local storage. This is similar to a cookie, but it is never sent to our server and is used only to remember your preferences. It is strictly necessary for that feature and is not used for tracking.
If this changes
We may add Google Analytics (to understand which pages are useful) or Google AdSense (to show ads that pay for the site). Both use cookies. Before either is switched on:
- this policy and the privacy policy will be updated to list the cookies and what they do
- visitors in regions that require it, such as the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, will be asked for consent first, and can refuse
Managing storage in your browser
You can delete cookies and local storage for any site in your browser settings. Deleting this site's storage simply resets the translator's sound settings.
